You typically find runner rugs of this size in a large gathering space, a long hallway, or being used on wooden stairs to make them less slippery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What if I want something medium-sized?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These sizes are probably the most well-known of the bunch. Many of these size options work well in the hallways and entryways of smaller homes. Common sizes in this category would range from 1\u2019x6\u2019 and 6\u2019x9&#8242;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>So\u2026 is there a normal size of a runner rug?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With all of these size options to choose from, what is considered normal? In our opinion, every one of the listed sizes above can be considered normal. It\u2019s more about how you use the rug and whether or not it fits your needs. For example, while 15-foot runners won\u2019t fit in a typical bedroom, that length would look perfect in your hallway or kitchen.
