Bidjar Rug
It is distinguished by its highly packed pile, their durability, brilliant use of color and abundance of designs. This Oriental Rugs are woven by Kurdish weavers in Bijar, Iran or woven in the surrounding villages using special techniques that are particular to this area.
These rugs have exquisite colors, with light and dark blues, and saturated to light, pale madder red. The designs are traditionally Persian, with predominant Herati, but also Mina Khani, Harshang, and simple medallion forms.
Hamedan Rug
Hamadan rugs comes from the Persian Villages located in the mountainous Hamadan Region, in western Iran. Each village has its own traditions and techniques. They usually have a background color of ivory, red, blue, or brown. They are usually very colorful.
Their pattern should be rectilinear, (Geometric and angular patterns), curvilinear (floral patterns), or both. Its designs and pattern depend on the village that where they were made.
