The town of Kashmar is about 150 kilometers South-west of Mashhad produces a great number of large sizes with different designs from Kashan, Kerman, Tabriz, and Varamin. The main colors are red and dark blue. There are also many subsidiary colors such as: beige, green, and ivory. Kashmar carpets are woven Persian knot, and the weave is like that of Mashhad.
